Carmel, Zionsville student winners make Public Service Announcements about online safety
Feb 2016
Three students from Carmel Clay Schools and three from Zionsville Schools have been selected for their winning ideas in Bright House Networks and Net Literacy’s Students Speaking Out for Safety Contest. The contest purpose was to promote youth as active advocates in internet safety by answering the question – “If you had 30 seconds, what would you say to your friends and family members about how to be safe online?” Winners presented their message in public service announcements that will be broadcast starting in March. Winners from Carmel included Sara Susant, 4th Grade, Mohawk Trails, Ayden Hagemann, 4th Grade, Prairie Trace, and Ella English, 5th Grade, Cherry Tree Elementary.
